Maurice is an absolutely delightful host with a great personality. He can tell you some terrific stories and the breakfast he makes is really great. He didn't speak any English but always has google translate handy to help with anything that we needed. Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to accept his invitation to share a drink with him during our short stay but the warm welcome was very much appreciated. All aspects of the Villa seemed to be very well thought-out with numerous subtle accents which add up to an overall meticulous and welcoming experience. We appreciated the small guide lights which helped when my partner and I were returning late in the night and air conditioning was a huge save during the summer when we stayed. His place is kept very clean and tidy with generally pleasing decoration (the room we stayed in was "pink" themed).

This is our favorite place ever to stay in France. The view from the pool and terrace were stunning, the room was spacious and beautifully renovated, the breakfast was gourmet quality. The best were the hosts, Marc and Jenny; friendly, funny, and incredibly helpful (they extracted us from a bit of a jam). It was truly worth every step up the last grueling kilometer to the top of the hill (we were hiking the GR6) to get there.....but even better by car.

Clean, quiet rooms in lower old-town Limeuil. Hosts are v helpful, gracious, and knowledgeable; and they offer advice and suggestions for dining, walking trails, nearby chateaux and small villages.

The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful room with Franche design. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Stefan, the host, took care of everything we need. We very much liked the breakfast and verity of tea to drink.

Stunning rural location, a truely magical retreat ..food for the soul.The soothing energy of This B and B retreat with beautiful blossom filled gardens. A short drive from the charming village of Limeuil. The hosts were generous and kind.I had the most amazing treatment on my back and neck.The breakfast was delicious. The beakfasts here are very good. lots of fresh fruit yoghurts and pastries. The setting is lovely with lots of private seating in the garden beside the stream.

Great location for traveling the Dordogne and in particular the Noir. Walking distance from resturants, the Prehistoric museum, Cro Megnon and more. The owner is dedicated and the place is clean well treated and equiped. Superb breakfast. Plenty of seating corners and privacy. Bottom line if you are in search for a location that one is highly recommended
