The rooms were phenomenal—such unique architecture and finishings. It felt very luxurious at a reasonable price. The grounds are stunning with the pool and gardens. The common area was comfortable and well stocked. Breakfast was the best on our trip through the region. And the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They gave great recommendations and even worked to book us extra tastings. Fantastic stay.

we had a family emergency and asked to change the dates of our stay and were told it was ok by the owner, but when we tried a few days later to submit our new dates we were told no. she was very angry with us about our request. we did not receive a refund or the ability to reschedule and lost our entire payment. the host would not work with us and booking dot com was of no help whatsoever. it looks like a beautiful place but we will definitely not stay when we do go to Medoc.

Chateau Baron was a brilliant find. Everything about the stay was perfect. The host was lovely and even offered us a wine tasting, despite us arriving quite late in the evening. The room was in fact a small apartment with plenty of space and a very comfy bed. I would certainly recommend Chateau Baron to anyone wanting to visit the Medoc.

The location amongst the vines of Haut Medoc. The room was impeccably clean and well decorated. Marianne is an excellent host and made us an excellent breakfast.
