Having taken an extensive trip to Wales, England and Scotland, Pat, my husband, and I stayed in several bed and breakfasts and hotels. Of all the places we have stayed in both the United States where we are from, and the United Kingdom, The Burrows in Pembroke, Wales was our favorite. It had a beautiful welcoming yard with lovely flowers and plants, benches and a picnic table and was within walking distance to the sea. The Burrows was meticulously and beautifully renovated to reflect the period when it was built (dating back to the 1750s). It had both exquisite and elegant decor but was also extremely clean, comfortable and met all our needs and wants. Laura and Pete, the owners were warm, gracious and welcoming. We loved our delicious English breakfast complete with generous choices and helpings including French Press coffee, homemade granola and yogurt and handmade butter curls to name a few items, served in a beautiful breakfast room. Our only regret was that we had to leave and could not stay longer.

Love the setting. Beds were comfy. Everything was clean. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Host was fabulous! Definitely a gem of a place.

The accommodation is peaceful and relaxing, set in a beautiful location, with lots to do in the area. The room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The cooked breakfasts were superb. Rebecca and Jeremy are wonderful hosts, very welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend.

John is a wonderful host. He takes a very good care of the property, to ensure that the guests feel comfortable during their stay. Very comfortable bed & it smells so good.

We loved everything about this property. Gareth and Tina are Awesome hosts and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious, our room was lovely, bed was very comfortable. Gareth was full of information on where and what to do in the area and beyond. Location was great and the people very friendly.

Located in a small village next to Carew Castle. Staff was fabulous, friendly and very helpful. Nice pub.

Very clean room and gorgeous comfy bed. Breakfast was superb, staff very helpful. Great allocated parking. Good location for the coastal paths. The whole building is very nicely decorated and well maintained. The owners obviously put a great deal of effort into this business.
