Carolyn was the nicest! The room was huge and modern, for sure a good value for money... If you are thinking of spending a couple of days in Edinburgh I recommend taking this guest house into consideration, even though it is not in the heart of the town by bus you can get to the city center in 30 minutes (there are night buses as well) and at least you can enjoy a nice and comfy room

The staff went above expectations to insure we had a great stay. Restaurant was exceptional. Neighborhood Lounge and bar was on premise. Bus stop at hotel entrance. Loved the thick walls and breakfast room decor. But the staff is what makes this an excellent place to stay. Location is about twelve miles out of Edinburgh and is in walking distance to Roslyn Chapel.

We were visiting Roslyn Chapel. Chapel Cross Guesthouse was about 500 m from the place.. Lovely rooms, warm , hot water, comfortable beds in both rooms. Lovely view from windows . Fantastic tea room on ground floor, where we had our breakfast. I am sure we will come back here.
