Had everything you could possibly need in a room and then some. Amazing furnishings - over the top and a lot of fun. Very comfortable four-poster bed, great TV, and tea/coffee making facilities with real milk in a fridge. Walk in show and luxuriously appointed bathroom. Funky lighting. Fantastic cooked breakfast and fruit salad. Attentive and entertaining hosts. Handy for Sherwood Forest and a perfect half way stopover for us travelling from Edinburgh to Brighton.

Beautiful setting, near to some great walks in the woods. Room was clean, comfortable bed, good size bathroom with hot water. Parking near the room. We arrived a little earlier than we said we would and the room wasn’t ready but we were warmly received by the owner and given a drink and a seat in the garden while we waited.

Very clean, comfortable bed, quiet and informal atmosphere. Dog friendly with lovely wooded walk within 10 minute stroll. Staff let you get on with it but are on hand should you require them. The property is currently closed for a couple of weeks so that en-suite facilities can be installed to some rooms. I really enjoyed my stay, recommended.
