Amazing experience. We arrived with the motorbike and even if we were out of dinner time the host was able to give us some great food! Amazing room, the bed were exceptional and the room very comfy and big! Great breakfast in the morning!

The breakfasts were the best breakfasts of our trip with tea that set a new standard for my tea making at home and a variety of tasty dishes to choose from, some of which included some homegrown produce. The rooms and bathrooms have everything one needs and more. We found it a convenient base to explore central and some of North Wales from: Aberystwyth, Devil's Bridge, and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The Kerry Ridge walk and the Textile Museum, both local attractions recommended by Tim, were some of our Wales highlights. For evening meals, we enjoyed our meal at Radnorshire Arms on one of the evenings but couldn't find anything in Newtown that we were wild about. Afterwards, we thought we should have done a picnic-style meal in the garden instead of the Newtown places we tried. (The Dolford Inn was unfortunately not serving meals when we were there.) Overall, we loved it and were sorry to have to leave.

Very dog friendly 🐕 😁. Great breakfast. Our dog had a nice couch (with steps) to itself in the breakfast room. We stayed in a 2 bedroom section which was very well furnished. Comfy beds. Fantastic views. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Amazingly unique place to stay with friendly atmosphere and wonderful hosts. Fresh and delicious made-to-order breakfasts. Lots of beautiful art and sculptures to discover around the property including a childrens sculpture trail.

Fantastic, peaceful location - cracking view from the balcony. Spotlessly clean and finished to an exceptionally high standard. Carol was extremely welcoming and settled us in well.
