We loved the beautiful room and the lovely garden. As the weather was not ideal, we spent a lot of time sitting in the comfortable chairs and looking out of the window. We therefore also greatly appreciated that the room came with a little kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the blankets warm. The decoration and location of the place was unique. We liked it very much. The hosts were very nice, even offered a little tray where we could leave the dishes for washing.

Friese Hoeve was absolutely wonderful! Our ground floor room (requested) had everything we needed, and the daily breakfast was delicious. The spacious dining/social room was always open, with beautiful views and a bar providing great wines and other drinks for very modest prices. We used this space in the evenings to relax. The staff, especially manager Daphne, were very helpful and friendly. Hoeve is on the edge of a small village, but it is very near to a bus stop, with an easy connection to the train. It could not have been better for us.
