everything was absolutely perfect! The location with the incredible view, the room was also very clean and well decorated, the equipments were also very good, you have everything you need, and the host were very welcoming! They gave us a lot of good recommendations and explained us a lot about South Africa! I highly recommend this place!

Perfect location in the heart of Barrydale. Our hosts Uwe and Carel clearly love what they do and where they are and that is contagious. The combination of German precision and the relaxing life and feel in a quaint is pretty special. Time stood still for a while on our way to the KKNK. The coffee and home made pastry on the stoep made us feel so welcome and the recommendation of dinner at the Hotel was a very good one. Barrydale will definitely be our stop over again. Thank you!

This was our second stay at The Whitehouse and we really had a lovely stay. Nicola's home-made goodies for breakfast was delicious and when my husband was a bit unwell at one stage, she couldn't have been more helpful. She also made a booking for us for dinner beforehand which was great. Her garden is a really peaceful place to relax. Nicola is a very caring hostess and will go back there whenever we tour that area again. Thanks Nicola!!
