The housekeeper was very welcoming and accommodating as we were delayed in arriving due to diversions from Cape Town. The location was incredible, just so close to the beach. It was a shame we didn't arrive early enough to enjoy the view.

It was an unforgettable experience of living in a castle. Jannie met us, showed us the castle, and also prepared documents and menus for their restaurant for us in our native language, it was very pleasant. We checked in, and in the evening we went to dinner, which was prepared by Martiana, she is an amazing chef. She fed us very tasty dishes. Over dinner, the hosts told us the history of their palace, told us about their family, hobbies and many other things. In the morning we were fed a delicious breakfast and we had a nice chat with the hosts again. They are very nice people, Yani is an artist, most of the paintings in the castle are his work. And he also has a large collection of various interesting pieces. We are extremely grateful for such a welcome and for an unforgettable experience at the castle. We kindly advise everyone and want to come back again.

We loved everything! The location was perfect and our hosts were so gracious and friendly. We were very comfortable and appreciated all the little extras. An added bonus was a separate guest toilet. We had a most enjoyable time - would have loved to stay longer...

Great location with a picturesque view across the bay. The rooms were well-appointed with lots of space and all the amenities we could wish for. The staff was excellent, providing great service and excellent communication even before our arrival to the guest house. We look forward to returning.

I loved the location, by the ocean. The room has a spectacular view; it feels like you are sleeping on the beach. The room was clean, cozy and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and patient with all our demands.
