What stood out was the extremely good service - late arrival by plane was accommodated with taxi pickup at the airport who could give us the keys to the property, then the manager stayed in contact with us on whatsapp until 1am and from 5am to inform us about the latest ferry schedule for the 7am ferry, all proactively without us asking for this, which allowed my family to sleep 1h longer in a very short night. Rooms and location are excellent value for money as well.

First and foremost, we would like to express our deepest gratitude towards the warmhearted and incredibly supportive owner, Mr. Robert. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of exceptional. His vast knowledge of the city and his extensive connections truly make him the go-to person for all things Santa Maria. Whatever we needed, Mr. Robert was there to assist us, proving that he is indeed the man who knows everything and everyone in town. Thanks to Mr. Robert, we were introduced to the phenomenal Kiteschool "Surf Shop Cabo Verde." Our experience there was nothing short of fantastic. The professionalism of the instructors and their passion for kitesurfing were evident from the very beginning. Within just two days, my wife and I were able to kite almost independently, which was an absolute thrill. We are incredibly thankful to Mr. Robert for connecting us to this amazing kiteschool and making this experience possible. By the way, it is one of the best kiteschool in Santa Maria. Please book in advance. Not only did Mr. Robert provide us with an incredible kitesurfing adventure, but he also recommended the best restaurants in town. And believe us when we say he was spot on! Each and every dining experience was a culinary delight, leaving our taste buds in awe. Mr. Robert's knowledge of the local dining scene truly enhanced our stay, and we'd highly recommend following his recommendations for an unforgettable gastronomic journey. Now, let's talk about the penthouse. This place is simply the best with an incredible view. The moment we stepped onto the rooftop terrace, we were greeted by an awe-inspiring panorama of the ocean that left us speechless.

Alla rum har ett kök och ett eget badrum.... New one bedroom apartment with kitchenette, living area and wrap around balcony. Minimally furnished but with everything I needed. Tiled flooring. A safe for valuables. Great location to access beaches and the town. I felt very safe walking back in the evening. Great sunbathing deck with sea views and a small pool to cool off.

Milanca was a wonderful host and was so interesting and helpful. Room was comfortable and a it was very restful watching the ocean from the pool area.

Kleine schweiz - LAFAYETTE har utsikt över staden och erbjuder boende med en terrass och en balkong, 5,4 km från Pedra Lume Salt Crater. It was more like a stay with friends. Though I stayed for only one night, there was still enough time to feel charm of the place and warmth and friendliness of the hosts. Room and bathroom were comfortable, everything was very new and clean, the place is very quiet and felt very safe. Sleeping was of the best quality. Breakfast was excellent, too.

Lovely house, clean and well-maintained in a neighborhood of similar houses/apartments a 10 minute drive (free shuttle bus) from the center of Santa Maria. The owner is a lovely, kind person whose sincere wish to make one's stay pleasant shines through. Being able to cook and eat on the beautiful, shaded patio was a welcome plus. Pool is a 1 minute walk, beautiful beach is a 7 minute walk.
