Capitan Max B&B is located amidst the Galápagos National Park, within Puerto Ayora. It offers free WiFi access and a 24-hour front desk service. One of those places that makes you feel good even before arrival. We exchanged tons of messages with Lourdes who takes care of logistics, tours, other details. Thanks to her our trip went smooth as silk and worries free. Hotel is modest but has everything you need. Only AC may be bit too loud for those with sleeping challenges, for us it was fine. Price is well ballanced, skip those places luring with so called pools, that are basically holes in the cement, I checked many of them personally. You come for nature and good vibes, leave pools for Miami.

Room was huge and clean, really nice staff, great location close to the pier and on one of the major streets. Room was just as nice as other places I stayed in Puerto Ayora, and about 1/3 the price.

La Peregrina Galapagos B&B is located in front of Pelican Bay and 15 minutes’ walk from Playa de los Alemanes Beach. Free WiFi access is available in public areas. This is a great alternative to a full hotel experience. This is a B&B in the old fashioned sense: clean, comfortable rooms, a nice breakfast to start your day, and then you are free to do your own thing. This is a former family home on an island 600 miles from the mainland... Very occasionally the water might not work, or the free WiFi might fall over. But just tell the lovely staff and they will do their best to sort it out. This is in a stellar location on the main Avenida Darwin right opposite the fish market, and yet the walled garden is an oasis of calm and tranquility. We were more than happy to read a book in the garden hammocks when we wanted some downtime. The staff were excellent, and couldn't be more helpful with organising taxis, recommending restaurants, and advising on excursions, walks, and more. The family room was perfect for us. We loved it!
