The house is very charming and the rooms themselves could not have been set up any better. The facilities were among the best in any hotel I've ever been in. The breakfast was traditional French and it was absolutely delicious. Perhaps a few "non-traditionally-French" additions would have been nice (like sliced cheese and ham).

Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden and views of garden, LE CHATEAU DE MONTHUREUX LE SEC is set in Monthureux-le-Sec, 37 km from Epinal Train Station. The chateau is beautifully decorated. The family room consists of two rooms with connecting door. Ideal for families with (small) children. Very spacious! Bathroom with great rain shower. We had a lovely, extensive breakfast. Our kids loved the swings and slide in the huge, green garden. And they loved to play with the house cat. The owner is super friendly and very helpful!

Beautiful and well kept B&B with lots of charm. The owners Frederic and his wife were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this location.

He welcomed us wonderfully, provided us with tips for the area, and even reserved a table for us at a local restaurant. + The room and common area are very clean. + The common area invites you to listen to music and play darts. + Although our attic room didn't have a view, the house is situated in a beautiful area right next to a forest.
