Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Amankaya Atitlan is a recently renovated guest house located in Cerro de Oro, 18 km from Volcano Atitlan. The house was very spacious with a full kitchen for use. Would recommend stocking up on groceries prior to reaching the home. The view was stellar and the house was on a tranquil and serene portion of the lake.

Beautiful sunken living room, awesome kitchen, totally clean and well equipped. A great library. Great management. Veronica is a great manager always looking out for the guests. This place is a gem. The rooms are big , with high ceilings the beds are comfortable. Warm.

Located in San Juan La Laguna, 25 km from Volcano Atitlan, Casa Argentina provides accommodation with a garden and private parking. Lovely accommodation, in a super safe area, walking distance to the center of San Juan. Beautiful art in the building and in our room. Nice terrace with hammocks and great view on the lake. Spacious, clean rooms. Shower has good water pressure. And last but not least, super friendly host (and family members). We had locked ourselves in the room at night and got on the wrong shuttle bus in the morning (which was arranged by her btw :-)) yet she always stayed friendly and helpful at any time! This woman deserves a medal for her patience with us :-p Muchas gracias por todo!

Eagle’s Nest is an awe-inspiring ecological resort and world-class event venue for the transformational growth of adventure travelers, artists and digital nomads. Everything! This has been my favourite place I’ve ever stayed, if you want to come and not go anywhere you can definitely do that.

Located within 24 km of Volcano Atitlan in San Pedro La Laguna, Hospedaje Lolita features accommodation with seating area. This guest house offers accommodation with a patio. Price/quality wise = 10! -Female 2 bed dorm was spacious enough with comfortable double beds with socket next to it and lockers -Shared bathroom on the same floor with toilet + good & warm shower +one more bathroom available on another floor -WiFi worked well (also in the dorm) -Good location: the ferry dock, bus stops and the Main Street with many restaurants etc all within walking distance -Nice rooftop terrace with good views -Outside/patio area where you can sit/hang out -Drinking water for a small fee -Out of review scope but FYI: Good & cheap laundry service available from a very nice lady around the corner

Cabaña Tzanjuyu is a recently renovated guest house in San Juan La Laguna, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. The cabaña is very authentic and charming, well located in the center of San Juan in a neighborhood that is little touristy, all what we were looking for. Javier and Maria were incredible host, very interesting, passionate and humanist but also very generous (they offered me an herbal tea when I was sick). The view is just stunning and the place has all the comfort needed (even hot shower). We would recommend it to anyone coming to Atitlan.
