We were warmly greeted by Porter, the four-legged wagging welcoming committee, and the kind owner Barclay. Our cozy room was spotless and perfect for our needs. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The freshly cooked breakfast was entirely sufficient with very good coffee. We recommend it without hesitation.

The location was amazing! The views from the lodge were breathtaking, and it was close to main attractions of the island. The best thing about our stay was our host Brenda, she really made us feel welcome and taken care of in the lodge! Such a sweet and kind spirit. The comforts in the lodge were amazing, we had the best sleep in there.

It was one of the best stays we both have ever had. The location was absolutely wonderful, and the breakfast astonishing (the hosts bake the bread themselves, are you kidding). There was also a great selection of books on Aran Islands – I finished one of them and enjoyed it immensely. We could see horses from our room window! And we had great luck with the weather. The cottage is near the grocery store and a pub, but also not so close as to be disturbed by other people passing by. Great location!
