The host was very accommodating and there was lots to chose from. It was cooked to perfection. The host was fantastic. We got there by bus so had no car to get around and the host drop us off in the town to get some dinner and picked us back up again. We were here for a wedding and got a taxi to Castle Leslie which was cheap. We had such a lovely stay and will stay again! Thank you so much.

Situated in Castleblayney, the recently renovated The Fairways, CastleBlayney provides accommodation 27 km from Proleek Dolmen and 27 km from Louth County Museum. Absolutely fantastic! Great area, great design, clean, super big and comfy bed and super friendly host family. Can highly recommend!

Set in Scairbh na gCaorach and only 44 km from Maudabawn Cultural Centre, Portinaghy House offers accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. Breakfast was outstanding with lots of variety. Theresa was very accommodating and picked us up by car and shuttled us back and forth to Monaghan where we had scheduled a plant visit at CombiLift. We had a delightful time with her and the owner of the home where she is running the B&B. The view from our window overlooked the lake and we were overwhelmed by the beautiful landscape. We would highly recommend staying at this location if someone is looking for a unique experience. Nothing like Irish hospitality.
