We had a car, it was easy to find and parking was not a problem. The space is exactly what it looks like in the listing. Saw the aurora borealis while in the apartment! The area is quiet. Owners are responsive if there are concerns. Easy check in and out.

Located on Álftanes peninsula, this guest house offers cottage-style rooms with free WiFi , driftwood furniture and a flat-screen TV. Reykjavík city centre is 14 km away. Love, loved the location. Being out of town a little was easy access both north and south. The village itself was so cute. We nicknamed our cabin window the “magic window” we saw so much out of it. Bird life, seals and northern lights. Very comfortable mattress. Parking right outside the door.

It is a great place to stay particularly for traveler who needs a kitchen for special diets ！ Location is good as it is walking distance to the bus stop #8 where all the tour bus will pickup/ drop off, it is also walking distance to the thermal pool.
