I mentioned I had caught a cold, and they prepared me a special traditional tea to help with my symptoms - and they also insisted that I fill my thermos with it for later. Their kindness is what makes their accommodation so special.

Charly’s Guest House is a property located in Granada that offers its guests an on-site German-style restaurant and is a short 15-minute walk from the town centre. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The facilities were great for lazing about. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfy.

Located 19 km from Volcan Mombacho, Casa del Agua offers an outdoor swimming pool, and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. Where to start? First of all, Gerry and his team are so friendly and helpful that we didn't really want to leave. They helped us with tours and shuttles, all for lower prices than we had expected. Breakfast is fantastic, presuming you like a mountain of fresh fruit, endless delicious coffee and of course Gerry's seemingly endless supply of home made pancakes with syrup and chocolate sauce. I think we put on weight in three days!! WiFi was good. The room was comfortable (including a/c, a mirror, clothes hangers and bedside tables!) and spacious. Location-wise you really couldn't ask for better.
