The lovely family taking care of the house, warm welcome, simple and very spacy rooms, cleanness, very well placed 5mins of walk from the main square, calm place and on the top of that, there is a wonderfull rooftop where you can chill, watch a sunset and the sky full of stars. This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay on the island. Clean room with drinking water provided, A/C and ceiling fan, working kitchen and bathroom with hot water, good WiFi connection. You can take the provided bikes to anywhere around the island in about 5-10 mins. The hosts, Sara and Shane are incredibly helpful and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Though our stay at Blue Paloma was a short phase 😊, it has definitely left a lasting and fantastic impression. The bluish-gray roof and walls of the Paloma greeted us as we approached the corner. It was exactly as pictured and advertised. Upon driving in, it felt like we were coming home. And then, once we met Andrea, Tania, and Chef Conroy, it definitely felt like home. We felt so welcomed, comfortable, taken care of and safe. The property is nicely decorated, has all the comforts of home, is very clean and well-maintained. Two of our favorite spots were the spacious and relaxing upstairs living room/sitting area and the large upstairs balcony overlooking the neighborhood. I also loved that our room had a balcony that allowed us to enjoy the outdoors from the privacy of our room. Hopefully next time it will be sunny so we can enjoy the pool. And, let me tell you, the food was divine! I wish we had more days there to indulge in chef Conroy’s breakfasts and dinners. Everything …including the juices and salad dressings are from scratch. We will most definitely be staying here again soon and will highly recommend it to our family and friends!

Beautiful surroundings, views, local charm (music in the hills). Amazing local food by Chef Terrence. Very accommodating and lovely staff which helped with planning and any issues.

Clean, air conditioned room, very comfy bed, great bathroom, shared beautiful kitchen with house mates, gorgeous views. Laborie is magic. Its an authentic local Caribbean experience which we love! If you’re looking for a resort go somewhere else, but if you want to live like locals… this is the place! Not a lot of amenities but so authentic! Everyone so friendly and welcoming! It’s like St John 50 years ago, tourism hast arrived yet!! LOVED IT!!!

Watercolours features an outdoor swimming pool, BBQ facilities and garden. Among the various facilities are a terrace and a bar. Both free WiFi and private parking are accessible on site. I like that the property has every basic thing that you would need in an apartment and more. The location is within close proximity to the town, shops, the stadium etc.

Every room is fitted with a patio with a garden view. Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Saint Augustine is 14 km from Trinidad Gingerbread House, while Las Cuevas is 20 km away. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here and if /when we visit Trinidad again will look no further than the Gingerbread House. The owners and staff are delightful, so accommodating and helpful. Our accommodation was perfect for us. There is a beautiful peaceful area at the back of the property where you can relax and enjoy, also a dipping pool to cool off in. There is parking at the front of the property and the location of the house is convenient for all your needs.

She took care of us and gave us a lot of tips. Her garden is amazing it was a pleasure to spend our time there. And the breakfast was delicious, as I'm vegetarian she always prepared a special plate for me

Our host Arlene was wonderful. We had a very comfortable room set in a convenient location for a short stay in Trinidad. Good breakfast, nice terrace and neighborhood.
