We had 3 weeks holidays in South Africa crossing the country by car and staying in many places. But when I asked my family what was the best accommodation, the Black Rock was on the top of the list. The Two-Bedroom House is spacious and very well equipped. Wood for BBQ was prepared before our arrival. The ocean view from the bedrooms and the terrace is amazing.

Bare Foot Cottage is an absolutely hidden gem on the wild coast. Tranquility and serenity abounds. The sunrise and sunsets over the view of the ocean and beach are fantastic. The cottage was well equipped with everything we required. Zeb the house sitter went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable, We will certainly return.

The location was situated perfectly for greats views over the ocean and the nearby small cliffs. The balcony made all the difference as well, making it very convenient to just exit your room to magnificent view or just open the curtains for great via the sliding doors.

Steve and Rachel were an amazing host the whole stay. They have been a huge help with recommendations from getting there to walking trails and nice restaurants. Steve even picked us up after a long hike. The family is trying to make a sustainable living with a beautiful garden, animals and rainwater collection. The breakfast included eggs and veggies from their own production. A big inspiration in our world full of overconsumption. The hut is nice and clean with a beautiful view where we were lucky to see dolphins from.

David was super friendly and gave great advice regarding places to visit at sunrise and places to hang out after sunset. He is easy to talk to and attends to all your needs.

The apartments are beautiful and have an amazing bay view:) Michelle was a very sweet and supportive host. We also enjoyed the dinner in the nice communal area.
