Loved every thing about the hotel- adjacent to the river allowing leisurely ferry trips into CBD, excellent breakfast cafe ( open 24/7) right outside hotel entrance , two minute walk to grocery store , good restaurants along adjoining street - In short ,location could not be better. Room was spacious and well appointed - in room washer / dryer especially handy. Staff at the hotel were exceptional - we cannot thank them enough for all their assistance ( including storing our luggage for three days and then having our bags waiting for us in our room when we arrived back in late evening for a further stay ) - 5 star ++++++ service !Many thanks .

El By The Sea Resort es un alojamiento de 4 estrellas situado en el centro de Port Douglas, junto a la playa Four Mile Beach y a solo 2 minutos a pie de los restaurantes de la calle Macrossan Street. En primer lugar me llamó la atención positivamente recibir un email con instrucciones para tomar la habitación porque estaba llegando después de la hora en que cierra la recepción. Me sentí muy bien porque se notaba una preocupación por el cliente. La arquitectura, los colores, y las instalaciones me parecieron muy lindas, cómodas y diferentes a lo que se acostumbra en un hotel. Me llamó la atención que todo el staff era femenino y la forma en que se presentan es muy cálida. La atención al día siguiente fue muy acogedora y a pesar que dejaba la habitación temprano me permitieron dejar mi equipaje, el auto estacionado y usar la piscina antes de retirarme. The Jewel Residences are very well located with lots of facilities, including pool and gym. The apartment itself was spacious and luxurious. It was well appointed and beautifully decorated. It really felt like a home away from home. If I could be guaranteed this exact apartment again I would book in a heartbeat!
