This is basically a homestay in a self-contained detached room with an en-suite. The provisions were excellent, and the attention to detail was well appreciated. From yoghurt, fresh fruit to bread for toast in the morning with a range of condiments, along with tea and coffee, I suspect few travellers seeking a bed for the night would be disappointed.

Gary was very personable, professional and informative. Thanks Gary for taking time to give us an itinerary on one of our days. It was so enjoyable. Loved the close proximity to cafes, shops and the beach. Apartment was cleaned daily too! Very nice stay.

Located in Napier and only 3.3 km from McLean Park, ART DECO 1930s Design provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. What an amazing place to stay. Our host was communicative, knowledgeable, friendly and super funny. The home is spacious and like traveling back in time to the 30s. There is a lovely garden to sit in as well. It's 7 minutes away from the bustle of center city, so it's gloriously quiet. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Dining room: comfortable, coffee, tea, water & snacks, sun deck. Excellent breakfast, afternoon drinks with canapés.
