The rooms are nice and cosy, and everything needed is available. The hosts are really friendly, always reachable and they even treated us with a bottle of wine. Highly recommended!

Part of a larger house, Frankie & Hugh's is a renovated, self-contained apartment situated in Ohakune, just a 20-minute drive from the Turoa ski field on Mount Ruapehu. Frankie and Hugh's felt like home away from home. Marlene and Wayne were great host and made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We found the property clean, spacious and well maintained. The breakfast was good and we very much enjoyed our stay at the property.

Located in Ohakune at the foothills of Mt Ruapehu, Rocky Mountain Chalets Ohakune provides accommodation with free WiFi, mountain views, and access to 2 hot tubs and a sauna. All the amenities were functioning and excellently maintained. The room size was superb. The apartment's location was excellent. The hot tub and sauna were really nice. There were plenty of nice restaurants , convenience stores and attractions nearby. Parking was available and convenient. The staff members were attentive and helpful and gave us some great tips for sightseeing and shopping.

Ranfurly Cottage is located in the historic township of Raetihi. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a patio and a private bathroom with free toiletries. So many thoughtful touches, a fantastic breakfast, cosy cottage with the fire on when we arrived. Under floor heating in the bathrooms. And amazing hosts! Truly loved our stay.

With free WiFi, a tour desk and free BBQ facilities, Tongariro Suites is nestled on 2.5 acres with breathtaking mountain views. Free continental breakfast supplies are available in-room upon arrival. The breakfast was delicious and the Staff was exceptional! Very hospitable we couldn't have asked for more. The mountain view was breathtaking and would definitely recommend to others.

Free breakfast, free WiFi and free parking are all included at The River Lodge, offering spacious rooms with satellite TV. You can relax in the 6-person hot tub or in a hammock beside the river. My partner and I stayed at the River Lodge during our Christmas/ summer holiday and it was EXCEPTIONAL. Cleanest room we have ever stayed in. The hosts are fantastic, great vibes all round! The included breakfast was delicious and we had all the amenities we needed. Well worth the price and experience away from a chain hotel. The setting is so green, relaxing and warm. We slept so well as it was so quiet. Highly recommend you stay here if you are planning to hike the Tongariro Alpine Crossing - Dani can organise a direct shuttle to/from the track for you.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. the house was very nice and located with views of Mt Ruapehu... the facilities were very new and it is a complete home and very suitable for family or a group of friends..
