We just loved it! The rooms are so nice, new and clean. The staff is super friendly! Also the location is great, close to the beach and they have restaurant downstairs, with great food for great price (with vegan options, which we loved).

The room was amazing - open to the nature. The hotel garden is beautiful, lot of plants, flowers, bee hives, even got the visit of animals like monkeys. Peaceful swimming pool to relax. Good breakfast. Welcoming hosts.

Staying at Pipe House was an great experience for my family and I. Kids we're enjoyed the little pipe house. Time spent at the beach and warm atmosphere. I was fascinated about the adventure of sleeping in a pipe. For 2 days is pretty sufficient. I was impressed about the staff. Very receptive and close to clients. Ready to serve and to help with any kind of questions/problems. We enjoyed at the maximum. The location is very closet to the Playa Grande/ Tamarindo. The beach is very clean, warm and gives you a variety of activities to do it. I enjoyed capturing very nice pictures/ personal and with drone. I highly recommend it. Pura Vida.

The Inn is new and lovely. The market has a variety of items and I would HIGHLY recommend you try their homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches. ;0) The rooms have the most plush towels I have ever experienced at a hotel, literally better than my own towels at home. And all the items in the kitchen (toaster, blender, stove etc) all in new/like new condition. I didn't try the onsite restaurant. Just a couple minute easy walk from the beach. And SMART; they have a safe in each room that works off credit card versus a code or key. Dan (owner ) and his team were terrific. The most powerful AC unit I experienced on my vacation lol!

A great place for access to the beach. A reasonably priced and delicious breakfast (we chose pancakes). We really appreciated the chill atmosphere of the grounds where there were plenty of lounges with one in the form of a four-poster bed. A great calm place for reading in the evening. a great place to stay for surfers.

What an amazing place! This was a fantastic location if you’re looking for a peaceful surf stay. The uncrowded and extremely consistent surf beach is right across the road and the property has an associated all day restaurant (Cafe Mar Azul) with fantastic food and drinks so you don’t have to look any further. As a solo female traveller the quiet gated community also ensured I felt safe throughout my stay, and the people - including the locals and the fantastic staff at both the property and the restaurant - made me feel right at home. The property also has surfboard rental and an amazing surf instructor if you’re looking to progress your surfing. Located within the national park there is also plenty of wildlife around - monkeys, raccoons, birds and skunks. And you can take an estuary tour to see the crocodiles. The property management are also able to assist in arranging transfers to the airport and a range of excursions. Lina was particularly helpful and readily available on-site for any questions and tips.

I was there a week ago and rebooked with them, so it's my second time in a short period because they are very friendly, attentive, and hospitable. The place and environment are clean and friendly, it's taken care of daily, the surfable beach is super close, there's a beautiful natural space in the gardens for yoga or workout, and guests are valued and respected. The stay ends up feeling welcomed, and friendly and you end up wanting to return because of their hospitality. Thanks for everything once again El Manglar team :)

incredible value for money. the property was clean, beautiful - felt like a mini resort oasis with only 5 rooms. cute cafe and restaurant on site, access to yoga classes and beach right down the street. couldn’t ask for anything better
