Although we didn't meet hosts throughout our stay, all the tiny details they took care of made us feel as honourable guests rather than customers. This place is awesome on so many levels. The proximity of the railway station combined with 9-euro ticket makes whole Berlin available at hand. And the neighborhood looks tempting too, this time we were mostly focused on Berlin, but we already think about coming back to explore Falkensee (and Potsdam) area on bike

The place was perfect in every way: the decor, the cleanliness, the comfort, the modern bathroom and the equipped kitchen. Everything is tastefully done and carefully prepared for a comfortable stay. The bus stop is nearby and the bus takes you to two train stations; ; a walk to the train station is about 15-20 minutes of easy walking which is what I did; several bakeries within minutes; several restaurants reachable by walk or bus; supermarket near station. We stayed in the second floor studio which required climbing about 10 stairs (not a problem for us!). It is a quiet town. The owner was responsive to all my needs.
