It was really pleasant to live in Nishad's place. It is a clean and hospitable guest house located not far from Kandy. Pick it for rural tranquility, it's a great stop if you want to discover Kandy city and area around it. There is a room with AC, fibre optics internet for additional moderate price if you need it. Home owner and his family are very modest and kind people.

We are completely satisfied with our stay at this place. The owner and his wife were very kind and accommodating, taking care of us with great attention. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the dinners and breakfasts were impeccable, enjoying excellent local cuisine. Very comfortable place to stay. Has everything needed for a long stay. Wifi is good for work. Big TV with Youtube. Hosts are very helpful and nice people. Big supermarket and many shops nearby. A great base to discover central Sri Lanka.

It is a wonderful bungalow built according to the colonial architecture with a fantastic views of nature and chilly climate, located in a nice small village. If you want to runaway into the country site, to achieve your complete peace of mind, this is the ideal place with only the sounds of nature and buddhists charms. It is a bungalow with a history tastefully decorated. Very comfortable and clean rooms with very comfortable beddings. Nice smell from the bed linens gives a nice touch which even luxury hotels sometimes do not have. Cool mornings start with the chirping of birds, and a cup of cow's milk freshly obtained from caretaker's cattle. I really enjoyed seated in the veranda my cup of fresh milk observing various birds coming to the garden. The guests have their own absolute privacy since owners do not accept two different parties at the same time. One of the other things which I can not forget is delicious food served. Food was very fresh. Staff were really helpful and very honest, always try to serve the best. I always felt as if I was in my own home. The bungalow provides all natural things, I loved the fresh water coming from the clay pot. Sight seeing walk in the village was so interesting. Lots of things of nature to see. There are plenty of extra activities that you can do there, including climbing up the hill under the shades of cloves trees, walk through the paddy field, climb the Lankathileke rock, visiting three ancient temples, visiting villagers farms. Petra is a great host, she contacted us soon as we booked the bungalow and immediately gave me the directions and all necessary information and also organized transport. She followed up our stay until we checked out very closely and made sure every thing was perfect. Finally we had a perfect holiday experience. I am waiting for my next holiday to go back for long stay. Highly recommend this hidden gem without any hesitation.
