Zacharia is a very very nice person who likes to share everything with the people that stay with him. You can choose to eat with him for dinner and we recommande it cause the food is amazing. The view from the room is breath taking, and the room is very spacious and clean. Zacharia even invited us to a party to meet his family, we even meet his son who his a genius and can talk about everything for hours .

29 km from Al Yarmok University, ( b&b ) Gadara rent room is a recently renovated property set in Umm Qays and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. This was a great experience for our night in Umm Qais. The owner was born and raised in Umm Qais, so he can tell you all about the ancient Roman and Ottoman city, its artefacts, and give you some tips for the area. The breakfast was great - everything local and even some treats from his fruit trees!

Located just 29 km from Al Yarmok University, Beit Philodemus features accommodation in Umm Qays with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Verry well located in a calm street with easy park possibilities. You are 2 minutes away by car = 12 minutes by foot from the archeological site. Verry welcomming hosts and sharing a meal with them was one of the best experience we had in Jordan!
