Situated at the foot of the Bretaye ski area in Villars-sur-Ollon, this charming wooden chalet offers breathtaking views over the Rhone Valley and surrounding Alps. This place is absolutely lovely, we really loved it! It was very easy to communicate with the owner, who showed us everything around and gave us the keys. The place feels small, but in fact it is spacious enough and there is anything you may need, from kitchenware to any other utensil. Delicious and rich breakfast provided by the owner inside the place. Very comfortable beds. Lovely garden in front of the house. 15-min walking from the centre of Villars, with Coop, restaurants, etc. Parking place easy to find nearby and free of charge. Highly recommended!

I liked the charm of an old (but nicely restored) chalet from the 18th century, the calmness of the neighborhood, the view on the church and overall the views on the mountains, the freshness of the nights that diverge from overheating cities in summertime, the proximity with all the commodities of the nice and clean mountainous small town with polite people. A very relaxing holiday time with the possibility to make many activities, have a good time and get nice memories. I shall definitely go back. God willing.

We've liked the fluent communication of the owner, that was always one step before we need the information. We were not in limbo, we've always known what will be happen. The chalet is exceptionel, 4 of us could enjoy our mixed business trip / holiday perfectly! We've used the jacuzzi and the grill, so relaxing rest & eating good food & enjoying fine wines are guaranteed! The kitchen is quite well equipped, you've everything for a good group of friends / family meal. You can fill the fridge @ Denner (in Chernex), or you can found a nice restaurant nearby up on the hill (https://restaurantlesfougeres.ch) if you prefer intimate forest surrounding. The chalet is wonderfully renovated: we've loved the harmonic collaboration of old style enterior and modern living (eg. everything is automated via IoT sensors and regulators). The panorama is wonderful! We could park free nearby the house and we've used a rented car to reach the location of Montreaux Jazz Fest every night (Pl. du Marché parking lot). Don't forget to visit the cog railway from Montreux (Railway Station - Av. des Alpes parking lot) to Rochers-de-Naye!

Excellent chalet, with all amenities, a beautiful set up, and a very flexible, helpful service who was able to respond to all our queries! 100% recommended.

It was absolutely high standard, the shower, the carpet, the bathroom! So comfortable the bed, so quiet the surranding, we only heard the cows nearby. Really high standard. The kitchen was equipped everything someone needs for some days. It was easy to find also but the apartment is high enough on a hill and the road is steep. There is an excellent wifi! My best apartment until now and the host is way to kind and he was very friendly with my dogs.
