Mountainview Solitude Inn, hotel in Riverside

Featuring a garden and views of sea, Mountainview Solitude Inn is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Riverside, 18 km from Hopewell Rocks Park.

The history of the home was fascinating. The owners were very hospitable, and made us feel at home. As many inns were still closed for the season, it was wonderful that they are open year-round!

Maplehurst Manor Bed and Breakfast, hotel in Riverside

Located within 38 km of Moncton Golf & Country Club and 24 km of Fort Beausejour in Dorchester, Maplehurst Manor Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation with seating area.

Quiet location, comfortable beds, large rooms and exceptional bathrooms. Every detail was top notch, breakfast was varied, always well presented and very tasty. Marisa, Jeff and Rosie were wonderful hosts, friendly, caring and obviously dedicated to offering the finest bed and breakfast experience possible. I think they succeeded and would recommend them to anyone and will certainly stay there again, if possible. The little touches were much appreciated, cookies, chocolates, slices of apple cake and the refill of the creamer for my in-room coffee. The Keurig coffeemakers in each room worked great, a nice prelude to breakfast coffee and easy to use. You will not regret a stay here, we found that none of our other trip accommodations could compete with Maplehurst Manor.

We had visited the Bay of Fundy's famous Flowerpot Rocks and it was only a short drive to Riverside from there. The next day we went to Cape Enrage which was further down the Fundy coast. Riverside is a small quiet community in a quaint scenic location.

    Riverside has a fantastic museum!

Riverside has a fantastic museum! One of the best community museums that we have been to. It tells about the history of the area, and is comprised of a number of buildings, such as a courthouse, gaol, and a great exhibit on one of out prime minister who was from the area.(Bennet). We had a guided tour- well with it! The young man who took us around was extremely knowledgeable and it was fascinating to learn about this area. In addition to this, there was a great gallery, a number of antique shops, locally grown produce and products to buy and local artists and crafts people to go and visit. We had to turn the car around a few times so that we wouldn't miss anything!
