Wolfville is a beautiful place to explore on foot, not forgetting the all-important walk on the dykes! Wonderful walking through KC Irving Botanical Gardens - next time I want to explore the building as well. The Odd Book on Front Street is absolutely amazing - you’ll find a book of any genre to read for pleasure or on just about any topic or area of study here. We’ve enjoyed dinner at Troy just off Main Street near the campus, lunch at Rolled Oat and Just Us Cafes; Slough Dough has also been recommended. A car is essential for getting out and enjoying the whole area - several wineries, Blomidon, Grand Pre and so much more. Of course as an Acadia graduate I will say that the campus is the most beautiful that you’ll find!

Small town with a university and close to Annapolis Valley vineyards. Unfortunately the town does not seem to take advantage of this. For example restaurants in town do not even carry local wine on their menus. Things shut early so late dinners after 9pm are impossible or challenging. But it is fairly close and convenient hub for several Fundy type sights like the tidal bores at Avondale and Burntcoat Head.

Wolfville is a little university town in the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. There's always lots of things to see and do. Hiking, wine tours, beautiful scenic drives in the countryside, and if you go there during the school year there are concerts, collegiate games, and of course there's always the art galleries. There are nice little restaurants, pubs and coffee shops all within walking distance of each other.

Beautiful rustic setting on the Minas Basin, Bay of Fundy with its dramatic high tides......walking paths on the salt marsh dykelands. Great places to eat such as Troy's, Luckett's and The Naked Crepe. Easy access to vineyards for wine tasting and fine dining. Minutes by car from Grand Pre National Historic Park, beaches and other small villages.
“The room was clean and had everything you needed - small kitchenette, super comfy bed, couch and a little fireplace. There was no tv but that was fine by us. We visited some local wineries and enjoyed a bottle that evening sitting on the patio. We took a taxi into Wolfville for dinner which was about $10 each way.
Overall we were very happy with Raven Hill and would definitely recommend it to friends!”
