The staff were very friendly, the location was beautiful, right next to the river - we were lucky enough to see the Elbe at dusk and dawn.

We stayed here for one night as we were travelling through Europe. The rooms were very clean and spacious, the staff was amazing. We were running late and they waited for us so we could check in which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast was delicious and wide selection available. We didn't have time to explore the area unfortunately but we highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel reminds of the atmosphere of the 80s: the furnishings in the room and in the dining room, old-fashioned reception desk. The overall impression of the hotel is positive - cleanly cleaned, prepared for overnight stay for one or more nights, the staff is friendly. The choice of dishes at breakfast could be a little better, but in general breakfast was not bad.
The hotel is older but from our point of view very comfortable and sufficient. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean (we stayed in the attic), the beds very comfortable. Dinner in the hotel restaurant excellent, breakfast as expected.
Plenty of space for bicycles, proximity to the castle park and quiet location were a bonus.
Fairly spartan rooms but super clean which is all I ask for. Hotel is basically for cyclists doing the Elberadweg. One of the breakfast ladies gave me a couple of bottles of mineral water as I was leaving in the morning saving me a couple of miles ride to a gas station.
