Quick communication from the host although we booked an hour before arriving was much appreciated. Unique stay in rural Finland. We found it when looking for a place to stay overnight while driving to Helsinki and it was the perfect B&B for one night. The building has old time charm and has all the basic amenities. The stay was perfect, apartment has spacious bathroom, 2 separated bedrooms and living room with kitchen, all furnished and decorated with high taste keeping the climate of the old town and this lovely old villa. I would love to plan the trip differently and has option to stay longer. Owner is amazing, helpful person, he was putting small groceries in the fridge for us to have any food to eat after coming late. Truly fantastic person!

Kristinestad is an old charming, "sleepy" town. Not much to do or go shopping. But The Jungman?s restaurant by the bridge and waterfront is nice with tasty food and serviceminded staff. There is a Campingplace by the shore with cottages for rent to a fair price. A "small town" feeling. But not for shopping...
