Idyllic rural setting, very quiet with the birds as the only noise. Property is nice and comfortable with most utensils and appliances you might reasonably want. Not mentioned in the listing is a hot tub and very fast internet! Will look to come back in future.

A mini ‘apartment’ all to ourselves ; excellent welcome, with immediate help to find a place to eat on a Monday evening; exceptionally clean and beautifully presented; comfortable bed and quiet. Breakfast was a treat and set us up well for our long drive ahead.

Shut on arrival. Restaurant adequate but wanting to get an early start in the morning we paid the night before only to be confronted by a staff member accusing of leaving without paying. Lack of communication between staff I think. Not great.

Run down and definitely not warranting the two stars!
The staff very unsympathetic. I had a 94 year old lady with me who needed an evening meal and somewhere clean and comfortable to stay the night. The rooms were very dark, gloomy and cold. Also the restaurant was closed and there was no half decent restaurants locally. After explaining this to the manager and saying that we had no choice other than to move on he refused to refund any of our payment. MY RECOMMENDATION - DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!!!
We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a pleasant view over the village pond. There was no hotel parking, but safe off road parking was available around the pond. It is in the centre of the village, very close to all amenities.
Fantastic staff who made sure everything was good for us. Breakfast is available for a reasonable price right in the hotel. Cute little town that you could walk around right from the room.
