It was new and there was a mictowave and mini fridge which is a good thing. It is the type of hotel that is basic but it would have been a good stay (good value foe the price! except for the worker. The recepcionist was very very unpleasant.

The chateau is drop-dead gorgeous. Our room was large and high-ceilinged, with beautiful tall windows overlooking the grounds and pool, and a lovely bathroom with claw-foot tub. I walked the grounds at sunset — incredible!

The family room was really nice and big. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was great as well. The dinner at the hotel was exceptional: home made sauces and desserts. Breakfast is French style, short and sweet. Also, the little village of Marsanne was a pleasant surprise. In front of the hotel was another restaurant and along the street another place, everything was lively and friendly, without being noisy. We had a great time - thanks!
The hotel and restaurant is very nice and has traditional French character. I really recommend to stay there out if the large cities and crowded location. No problem with parking the car, very interesting vincinity. There is no reception in the hotel but it is even better because the restaurant is open till late night. Marsanne is romantic location.
We knew the village from a previous trip, but not the hotel. It exceeded all our expectations, the room was quiet if a little small, the bathroom was spotless and newly decorated in a modern style. In addition it had an excellent restaurant and was good value.
It has the charm of a small french country hotel.
