We have stayed here a couple of times before and always enjoyed it. We stayed in room 110. The rooms are nice, clean, but very warm, there is a fan provided which did go a little to helping. Kettle provided.
This time we were very pleased to find that you could book secure private parking on the hotel premises for 7 euros a day which was easily accessed and quality because of the parking in Obernai itself. Also bonus market on the Ramparts behind the hotel on Thursday morning.
My only criticism was the breakfast. The bread and croisants were dry and hard, the choice of ham and cheese was minimal. I'm afraid this did not seem the quality of previous years for the amount paid.
Despite this I would recommend this hotel to other travellers especially for the location in the centre of the town.

We had a room designed for someone with a disability.
We had a room designed for someone with a disability. It had wheelchair access although we didn’t use it. The shower/wet room was well designed for the disabled. It had a high rise toilet !! Access to the room/suite was by lift. It couldn’t have been more comfortable and accessible. Great wine and picturesque buildings . Drawback with wheelchair is the cobbled streets but choosing route carefully can obviate this!

Colmar is the best known town in Alsace but Obernai is better! Driving there is a challenge because of the one-way system but there is plenty of parking and the old town needs to be explored on foot. There is an extensive selection of tea shops and restaurants in the old town.

Obernai is a lovely small city encircled by an ancient city wall. It has great craft stores and restaurants. It also is at the foothills of Mt St Odile, a fabulous place to visit and hike in the surrounding forests.
The location of the apartment is fabulous, right in the old part of Obernai, close to all the sights and amenities, but very quiet with no through traffic. Easy walking distance from the train station. The apartment is as named - calm and cosy. Very clean throughout, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good washing machine and an airer to dry clothes, and an excellent shower. Fabien the host was fantastic, very helpful and readily answered any questions. Obernai itself is also a delight.
We booked this accomodation on our way back home from Italy because of its reasonable price and proximity to the highway. Obernai appeared to be a lovely Alsacian place for an overnight stay, bustling with restaurants and shops. The accomodation is in one of the restricted traffic streets in the centre, but free parking is available at only a few minutes walking distance. Our room was large and overall comfortable, and we had a great dinner in the restaurant beneath.
Room is very large. Large terrace. Functional kitchenette and extra large bathroom. Shower is curtained in to prevent water from getting the entire room wet, which was better than the other four hotels we stayed at during our vacation in France. The bed was not as firm as the others we slept on in France. The ground floor shopping center has a very nice boulangerie with wonderful looking pastries, sandwiches, etc.
Location is excellent, everything is right in the centre and free public parking is nearby. We dropped our bags in front of the property and took the car to the parking lot. Do read instructions carefully, look for the owner’s name on the door. The apartment is on the 2nd floor as we all know, there is no lift and 2nd floor mean 3 flights up. From Obernai, you can easily drive to Barr and Mt St Odile, recommended.
Amazing villa with spectacular views, museum like design, and massive room spaces and porches. Lovely and generous breakfast served in sophisticated setting. Caring and engaged hosts that were helpful and kind (offered to drive us down to town from dinner -:). Complementary wine and snacks in the room and a great price for 4+star setting and service! It’s really a one of a kind place.
The breakfast is good and the location is great.
There is a lot of restaurants in Obernai, but you better order a table in advance for a dinner, as most of the restaurants become full by the evening.
There is a public paid parking area next to the hotel, with a free parking during the dark hours, between 18:00-09:00. And another free public parking 8 minutes walk.
The apartment is brilliantly positioned right on the main square and is extremely spacious & well decorated. Additionally it has a lovely outdoor area for al fresco dining.
Obernai itself is unbelievably pretty and you look out at it all that beauty from the apartment.
Public free parking is just a 5 minute walk away.
Isabelle is a lovely host and very helpful.
Great location surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Free parking lot is only a few minute walk away. The room we had was spacious and comfortable for 2 people plus 2 dogs. I believe the windows are soundproof so noises can't come from outside. However, we could clearly hear noises from upstairs and in the halway. Overall it was a great stay for us. Merci beaucoup!
Good central location and thus easy to get out in Obernai, good breakfast with many options, staff are friendly and helpful in finding possible places to eat in Obernai, good parking option close to the hotel.
Definitely a hotel we will use next time the trip goes to Alsace.
We loved absolutely everything-how comfortable and clean the apartment was, the equipment, the location in the heart of Obernai and how uncomplicated our stay was (check in and out just with a code). 10 Stars out of 10.
