Very friendly staff in the evening. Nice little reading/sitting room with a good library. Even though the restaurant was full they made space for us in the breakfast room. The small bar was a plus 😉
Rooms were clean and neat. Maybe not the most modern interior but well kept.

This was a lovely old house with good parking. Our room was large, comfortable and warm with a good en suite. The breakfast was very good. We were able to walk into Castletown for an evening meal which is wecome after spending a fair amount of time driving.
A six mile drive from Greenland House is the Castle of Mey, it was well worth the visit.

Fabulous breakfast will all local produce, especially the black pudding. I ate at the Park every evening and the food was delicious. The room was large, clean and had a great wet room type shower.

Castletown itself is quite small, but literally on the outskirts of Thurso. While we were there, their one Morrisons had closed for a total refurbishment, so if you were looking for groceries or the like, you'd have to go a bit further. But the local hotel had a lovely restaurant and there are some other local shops that looked quite handy and nice!

The breakfast buffet was amazing, especially for a quiet winter season. I booked a single room but got upgraded to a beautiful double room. Only the fan in the bathroom was a bit noisy and ran quite long after using the bathroom. The Wi-Fi worked very well, great TV with many channels and a very cosy bed. Very friendly lady at check in. Enjoyed my stay very much.

Excellent and high standard provided throughout, from service to bedding to breakfast tables to provisions by hosts Richard and Jane. Best B&B we have stayed in so far, 3 weeks into our trip. Excellent breakfast menu, comfortable large room, and, large ensuite. Very accommodating hosts. A 2 minute drive to Castletown to the local Hotel, for an excellent dinner. Ten minute drive into Thurso. Separate lounge area you can relax in. Can totally recommend.

Full Scottish breakfast included with the stay, ideal location on the route of NC500, secure parking for my motorcycle at the rear of the hotel, good nights rest in clean comfortable single room, very quiet, staff very friendly and polite, evening meal and refreshment served in the restaurant, I shall use again for my next trip through the area.
The cottage was peaceful and cozy. The view of the bay and Dunnet Head was lovely. I hiked the cliffs of Dunnet Bay and Holburnhead. My phone stopped charging while I was there, and Chris from Caithness Phone Repairs was super helpful! He and, Jamie and George from PixelIT in Thurso. Jamie, thank God, had a wireless charger!
The Hotel staff were friendly and attentive, particularly with helping my wife and young son around with the buggy when i was at work. The hotel was clean and the food was really really good if not excellent!
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We will stay here again for sure!
Staff all very friendly, everything was very clean and tidy, think hotel has been fully refurbished recently, had lovely dinner and really enjoyed our stay. If staying here best to book dinner also, food was great and there aren’t many other options locally.
The house was quaint and wonderfully decorated with a sitting room and everything. The windows do let in a decent amount of cold air, but it is an older building and that is to be expected. With the curtains shut and the heat on you barely notice.
A lovely surprise. Such a stylish and comfortable place to stay with accomodating staff. A great place for surfing, birdwatching, or visiting the beautiful Castletown beach. For us, it was the staging point for the ferry to Stromness.
Small but clean room, friendly staff, good location, water pressure in the shower was great ( it is a big deal since so many small hotels/ b&bs have such a poor water pressure).
