This place is a gem. The view of the bay from the very large terrace is amazing, and the village of Doli is very quiet. The rooms are comfortable, and unlike other places we've stayed, this apartment has nice lounge chairs. It's a quick 10-minute drive to the fortress and town of Ston, and there's a few nice restaurants 15 minutes south in Slano. Dubrovnik is about an hour south, but to be honest, we wished we'd stayed longer at Villa Fragola.
Offering a-la-carte restaurant and bar Hotel Ostrea is located in Ston, just 328 feet from the entrance to Old Town and right next to the beach.

It was magnificent. Secluded in a beautiful waterfront area with boats around it. The bed-and-breakfast was fabulous. It was quaint and charming clean and modern and I wish I was staying there longer. I left my wallet there with a lot of money and credit cards under the bed by accident and they called me immediately and had it sent out to me.

Parking was super easy and right outside the hotel and it would have extended into parking in Ston as well but did not know that until it was too late. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the location. There were a lot of steps.

The staff was very helpful. The room was big and had an equipped kitchen and a table with 4 chairs. The parking was free in front of the property. The restaurant in the building, where we Also had breakfast, had a very nice atmosphere, the food was OK there. The shower was OK, strong water jet and warm. The breakfast was good. Since we don't eat meat, they served a portion of scrambled eggs, cheese, 1 croissant, 1 small white bread, a few slices of orange, apple and I little of pineapple, and some extra white bread. Butter, jam and honey were in individual portions. We ordered herbal tea instead of coffee, and they served it with lemon, that was nice. They offered me lactose free milk since I am lactose intollerant. I didn't use because I took tea. The veranda of the room was big and had a view of the sea.
