The location is fantastic, this park with many small cabins in the middle of nature - loved it for a weekend getaway! Walking around is very relaxing, right before reaching the park there were some ponies, at the park itself there's also a kids' playground, the sea is just a couple of minutes on foot. The chalet was pretty small, but it had everything we needed for such a short stay, it was clean and warm and also had a small kitchen area with a sink, mini fridge, coffee, and tea machines. Would definitely go back in summer!

Lovely place with plenty of walks available for those who want them. Due to fact we visited in February it was unfortunate that several places were on limited opening however we had a fabulous meal at Basalt restaurant. Super sea seafood and excellent service. Local pub also very welcoming (sorry can't remember the name). Lovely community where everyone would acknowledge you with a friendly good morning. Looking forward to going back in the summer months.
Breakfast had a very good variety and was just a perfect start to the day!
The lady - owner was super friendly and welcomed us to the property to accommodate us and provided us with some local information and invited us for a cuppa.
The restaurant (feels like your private living & dining room) also features hot & cold soft drinks, incl beer & wine at a charge, which was convenient.
The two-bedroom apartment was very well appointed with full kitchen facilities and with a pleasant outdoor sitting space.
To be in an historic building where the old directors of Rijkswaterstaat were living as 'privileged kings' when supervising the Afsluitdijk works. The idea that the government specially build these high-quality home offices seems today a bit surprising, but makes sense when you consider the Afsluitdijk in that 1930's period as a global showcase of advanced civil engineering. Is that why the house, rooms and owners give you this royal feeling too?
Fantastic holiday home, clean, modern and really central, just a short walk to bars and restaurants.
Shower room is lovely with seperate toilet.
Two bedrooms and lovely furnished. Includes all kitchen ware including coffee maker.
Underfloor heating is a god send and can be controlled.
Couldnt reccommend enough and we will defo be back!
Lovely quirky hotel in a quiet spot, we stayed here for 1 night on our cycle tour. Henry the host was very welcoming, the rooms have a lovely individual style, highly recommended, very relaxing and we found a great little restaurant for dinner close by, secure cycle parking too, couldn't ask for more :-)
Bed and Kitchen Den Oever was a wonderful surprise. The accommodation was spacious, clean, had plenty of room to park 4 bikes, and had washing machine / dryer we could use. Surprisingly there was also a computer my husband could use to complete some online business. The beds were very comfortable.
Excellent, generous breakfast. Very kind hosts, free coffee! The house is attractive and close to the harbour and restaurants/bars. There's a great restaurant just around the corner.
I liked everything. Bathroom and shower perfect. Good localization. Brand new apartament. Very clean . Supermarket near. Pub and restaurant too. The owner is very friendly.
Ideally situated for work location. Ideally situated for the restaurants and pubs. The owners were fantastic hosts making the whole stay that bit more pleasant.
The hostess was brilliant and couldn’t do enough to help. Friendly B&B without feeling overlooked; feel of a hotel but with the service and care of a B&B.
