We used our stay for a visit to the Lacul Rosu and the Bizac Gorge. There is a little walk around the lake, which is a way of escaping the mass of tourist visiting the place in summer. The Bizac Gorge is really outstanding, despite the issue that you can basically only drive through by car. The road it to small for a safe way, yet there are several places to stop and enjoy the views.StefanGermany

Free public parking place near the building, lot of traditional food places around (or 10 min to Borzont). The place is situated right into the middle, 1h to Madarasi Harghita Ski Slopes, 30 minutes to Orizont Ski Slope (only for beginners), 30minutes to Toplița /Borsec Ski Slopes, 1h to Praid Salina. Best place to enjoy Vărșag, Hășmaș or Giurgeu mountains.

Just outside of Gheorgheni, in a quiet spot close to the mountains and the forest. The owners and staff are all wonderful and do their best to make you feel confortable. The amenities and facilities are great and exceeded all my expectations. The continental breakfast for 7 euros was a nice touch. I will definitely return here!
