Lovely guesthouse on a working sheep farm. We stayed in a room in the main building with private bathroom. The room seemed newly renovated, it was quite large and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. It had a good shower. The beds were ok, a bit on the soft side for us. Our room had a wonderful view over the glaciers in the area, which was pretty amazing! The guesthouse has a dining/breakfast area with similar awesome views. We did not have dinner but did enjoy complementary (cold) breakfast. That was very good with lots of jams, meets, bread and toast, drinks, sweet herring, etc. and homemade cakes. Location is about 30mins from Hofn, so keep that in mind. The farm is about 3kms from the ringroad and surrounded by fields full of tsjirping birds.

The accommodation is surrounded by a wonderful countryside and you have an amazing view on the mountains or glaciers. There are all necessary items in the kitchen and the beds are comfortable. One room has even a balcony!

The hut is bigger than I thought seen the pictures. It provided everything what we needed. I liked the spirit of this place, and the shores of Höfn. Best price around this area.
