We loved our 3 night stay here, so much so we wanted another night but it was booked out unfortunately. Fabulous location with so much to do (We had our own car). It’s near to amazing walks and beaches (lovely walk down to the estuary just left out of the drive). The lady owner was really helpful and gave us a map with recommendations of walks and restaurants. Our Spanish is non existent and she spoke some English but we had already got a great booklet from the tourism office in Bermeo (cute fishing village) which explained all the hiking routes in the Urbadai area in detail which I would recommend. We also walked over to the island called Hermitage of St John The Baptist (Gaztelugatxe). It is free but you need to book a time to visit online beforehand as it books out quickly. It’s a very steep walk down and best to do when not so hot ! Our favourite beach to swim was Laga, clear water and not too crowded but get there early as the car park fills up and then everyone parks along the road. Our room was spotlessly clean. We had a nice continental breakfast at small extra charge. She gave us a kettle, tea bags and milk which was much appreciated. Would thoroughly recommend and hope to return some day.

Olga's place is beautifully located, very well maintained, and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed talking to Olga, thank you for very valuable information on the surroundings, worthwhile excursions, and the Basque country and history! Our kid loved to play with the dogs and cats, he was also allowed to "shepherd" the sheep and collect fresh eggs from the chicken.

Lovely old style house in the countryside with charme, nice view and our room (nr.3) had a hughe roofed terasse where you could sit outside even when the short rain showers come, which are quite natural here but dont worry 20 min later the sun is out again. The hosts are lovely and the breakfast is wonderful in a very nice breakfast room. In the big outside area there is a little roofed eating area with a fridge and microwave, so you can make your own dinner. Nice surfer beaches not so far away and everything is totally relaxed!

The property was perfect for a tranquil stay in the country. A short walk to the beautiful port city of Elantxobe. The hosts were wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The husband even gave me a lift to Gernika the day I left. I would highly recommend this property.
