the house is beautiful, and the accomodation is run by the family members, who are all really friendly, helpful and authentic. they grow their own vegetables and have some animals in their property, like chickens and goats, which makes it really fun for the kids (and adults) I will definetely come back!

This house is located in the beautiful hills outside of Hondarribia. The views are stunning, the rooms are comfortable with access to a second floor patio. The owner and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. I would happily stay there again, but for more nights next time!

Sleeping in this castle was one of the most unique and profound experiences. Laurent, Nina and the groundskeeper were all very friendly. We were guided around the premises by Laurent (the 24th generation to reside here) and shown the ins and outs, history, and amenities of the property. Both Nina and Laurent ensured that all of our needs were met. Our room was incredible; historic artwork and designs, a king sized bed, and the bathroom had both a claw foot tub + a shower. The views from the windows were like a scene from a movie. The property is spectacular; walking the grounds or inside the museum it was all so well taken care of. We played several of the many old games they had there in the field house and the century old piano!!! The Piano in the lounge was so incredible, early 1900s. The resonance is unlike any other I’ve played!
