We had a wonderful stay with the friendliest staff who couldn't have been more good natured and attentive (with lots of local humour thrown in). We'd particularly like to mention Jo who put a smile on our faces with her cheery service. Thank you all for making our stay so enjoyable. We would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a hotel in such an idyllic English countryside setting!

You're a bit of a captured audience and there's not much else to eat anywhere close. Other than this we loved the place, it was lovely, quiet, romantic and great rooms.

Spotlessly clean, charming vintage interior, extremely cosy, car can be parked right on the street directly in front of the house. Literally a stone's throw away there's a country pub with one of the most beautiful pub gardens I've ever seen (and the food there is simply excellent). Check-in was contactless via key safe at the entrance but Beckie (the owner) provided every information needed beforehand – without any questions left. To sum it up: a perfect stay :-)
