Everything was perfect. Nice and clean with everything you need. Maybe for longer stays you’ll feel the lack of a washing machine, but for our 5 nights stay we didn’t need it. The fact that there was coffee was just the cherry on top. The host was replying really fast to our messages. Fast as in instant.

Everything was amazing. Sabino was very attentive and friendly host. Apartment is extremely clean and cozy, bed is huge and comfortable. Apartment is better in real life, than on photos, by the way. Ocean view is unbelievable! Kitchen is big and well-equipped, you can cook everything there. Wi-Fi was fast and stable

Or to hike PR1.1 or parts of PR1.2 and PR1.3 (and many other stunning mountain hiking trails in this area of the island. • It is also calm and quiet in the area, away from the hustle and bustle in Funchal. • The host that received us at the property was very friendly! Made us feel right at home!

You can easily get to Queimadas or even hike to Pico Ruivo if you like challenges without getting into your car. It has a garden all for yourself with subtropical plants. The house was very clean, cozy with nice furniture and rustic decor. The kitchen is fully equipped including an electric stove and all appliances seemed new. There's good wifi and cable TV even with English language channels. You can park your car on the property.

The house is located at the height of 480m away from populated areas just on the edge of the forest. For those who love nature I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay. Hiking trails are just a few meters from your door. House is very well equipped, we found everything we needed. There is a modern kitchen with all the cooking equipment. We enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace as well.

The location is close to a few nice restaurants and Santana is a great location to stay for several hikes.
