Located right on the beachfront in St Lawrence Gap, Yellow Bird Hotel offers an outdoor pool, a sun deck and a poolside restaurant and bar. I couldn't have loved it more! The Yellow Bird Hotel is a great place to stay in Barbados. Staff was amazing, more than helpful and always equipped with bright smiles! The rooms are very clean, so is the pool area. From here, one can easily reach all major sights on the island. I highly recommend the Yellow Bird!

Set on Worthing Beach, Coral Mist Beach Hotel offers amazing Caribbean Sea views. It offers studios with balconies, a gym and an outdoor swimming pool. Fantastic staff, very clean rooms, great restaurant, including breakfast (fishcakes and the full breakfast!) And all on the beachfront and in the best location on the South Coast imho. A short walk from Worthing Food Court, supermarkets, the next beach (Rockley) which has the great Tikibar and of course Chefette! Good snorkeling in Dover just a walk away or take the ZR 5mins to Carlisle to basically see turtles every single time. Also every Wednesday the Coral Mist manager hosts complimentary drinks poolside! What a lovely touch. We stayed at Christmas and a great Christmas dinner buffet was available with advance booking - but many thanks for getting us in without booking! Many thanks to all the cleaning, security, service and management staff at Coral Mist for the perfect winter getaway!

Located in Christ Church, a 8-minute walk from Long Bay, OceanBlue Resort provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Please note that everything below is just my personal opinion 😊 This is a place you want to return. It's a great hotel to relax and recharge. Cozy and comfortable. The owners put their soul into this place and it can be felt in everything: aesthetics, cleanliness, comfort and peace and, of course, the attitude towards guests: everyone is very friendly, but does not violate personal space, all issues, if they arise, are resolved as quickly as possible. Local artists are invited once a week, so guests can enjoy a concert, don't worry, it won't interfere with your relaxation. There is a restaurant on the territory, the food is very tasty, and the staff are just lovely, very friendly, hospitable and polite! Guys, you really are great 😊 Breakfast is served here from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. if I’m not mistaken. You can pay with card, cash in US$ or BBD. The sound of the ocean can be heard even with the windows closed and it is like a lullaby) Beautiful dawns, if you wake up at dawn, of course. You have to walk to the beach, but it’s quite windy on this coast, so swimming in the ocean is not always an option, it is great that there is a swimming pool with the ocean view on the property. If you enjoy windsurfing or kitesurfing - this is the place for you. It you want to reach calmer beaches you will have to go by car or bus. The front desk staff will help you hail a taxi (about $25-30, may be more depending on where you’re going) or you can try public transportation (only $1.75 or 3.50 BBD, you can pay in both currencies). Personally, I think that bus #11 is a must try. You may be temporarily shocked, but it's fun and definitely something you'll remember. The thing is, you’ll want to come back here.

With a peaceful, beachfront location, Cobblers Cove - Barbados is set in exotic gardens and offers free watersports, including windsurfing, sailing and waterskiing. Everything. Couldn’t fault anything.

Boasting free bikes and a restaurant, Little Arches Boutique Hotel - Adults Only is set in Christ Church. The property has a garden, as well as a terrace. The hotel is very cozy and located in a relaxed area with very nice restaurant on the rooftop, but still walking distance from Oistins Fish market, and not far from Lawrence Gap and Bridgetown by taxi.

Hotel PomMarine has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and restaurant in Bridgetown. This 3-star hotel offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Good portion and delicious. The place was very nice and confortable.

Sugar Bay Barbados has a year-round outdoor pool and spa center, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. George Washington Museum is 10 minutes’ walk away. It’s a nice hotel right on the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was great to get off the plane and go straight into the sea for a swim.
