The location was great. The property is new and the air conditioning worked very well. The beds were comfortable and the showers were hot. Van der Valk Hotel Gent is a stone's throw from the city center, close to both the E17 and E40 motorways. Excellent location next to the Gent FC stadium although not in the centre of town. Restaurant, bar, cafeteria all to a high standard in the hotel. Conference rooms also offerred.

The location is ideal, and every detail of my stay felt carefully thought out and beautifully executed. I truly felt like a valued guest, and I would return in a heartbeat. The hotel had thought of all the small details, bottled water, snacks and fruit available. Very clean, new and funky. Lovely location on the edge of the natural park and fens. Friendly staff and dog lovers.
