Located in Fianarantsoa, one mile from Fianarantsoa Train Station, Tsara Guest House provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We got to stop in town accidetially because of a car repair. The guesthouse was the best that could Happen to us. Even on a day the guesthouse was closed, we were allowed to stay one extra day.

The Citizen in Antananarivo provides adults only accommodations with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. You can see the lake from the room as well as the terrace. The nostalgic hotel offers good service on everything. Wifi is fast and stable. Staff are friendly and super helpful. It only takes them one minute to switch on the generator after the power cut. The restaurant attracts not only guests like me but also guests from outside. Their grilled zebu is really one-of-the-kind. I hope i can come back for the grilled zebu again. Don’t miss the sunset on the terrace. The upper town looks like a painting with the sunshine.

Located in Nosy Be, a few steps from Ambondrona Beach, Swisscocobeach provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. It’s about 30-45min from the airport depending on your taxi driver. The hotel will organise a shuttle from the airport and it will be added to your hotel invoice. They do accept card. It is a small hotel which is nice. My girlfriend and I rented an apartment and a hotel room next door for my parents. The apartment has all the amenities you need to cook and have a great breakfast together as well as a fridge to keep your items cold. Rooms have AC and fans, Bathrooms have a bidet and are nicely laid out. The restaurant and bar on site is fantastic and the staff make you feel at home and very welcome. The food is really fresh and the beers served are ice cold. They rent motorbikes to hotel guests, when rented one and drive around the island for 2-3hours. The roads on nosy be are really good. The beach outside the hotel is clean and it has a nice stretch you can walk down. There is a security guard at the front gate at night which is adds to the feeling of security.

Located in Ranohira, a 19-minute walk from Isalo Museum, Satrana Lodge provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Lovely place. The 'rooms' are large and more like cabins. Each has its own small patio with a view. Washroom is large and clean. Hot water mostly in the morning. Comfortable beds. Helpful attentive professional staff. Swimming pool. Great restaurant.

Résidence Le Hublot is located in Antananarivo, within 1.2 miles of Andafiavaratra Palace and 1.7 miles of The Rova of Antananarivo. Great location, really close to everything in the Tana centre. The place was beautiful- spacious, clean, with everything you need. The room had its own kitchen which was great and it's right next door to a lovely restaurant. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Best value for money place I've stayed in Tana by far. Will definitely book again. Highly recommend!!

Located near Djamandjara on Nosy Be, Hotel Mahita Tsara is a 5-minute walk from the beach and set above the village of Cocotiers. It offers air conditioning and a restaurant. Very clean and well-appointed Hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and the bathroom was amazing. Customer service was impeccable from the moment we walked in. Everybody is willing to help. Kudos to the management and especially Edwina- The front desk manager and the owner. Took great care of everything. Highly recommend!
