The Rangoon Hotel is well set in the center of Yangon, and provides a terrace, free WiFi and a bar. The hotel is modern and fairly reflects Western standards. The room is very spacious with a large bathroom. The staff is extremely kind and always smiling; they helped me book the bus to Bagan and arranged for an excellent local guide to explore Yangon. The hotel's location is good; within walking distance, there's also a shopping center with a large supermarket in case you need to do some shopping. The hotel restaurant, located on a beautiful rooftop terrace, offers a good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. I will definitely book this hotel again for my last few days in Myanmar before my flight back to Italy.

Staff is so friendly and helpful. Amazing food selection at breakfast and buffet dinner. Super comfortable room and bed. There is even a pillow menue if you want to order different quality. Love the bath towlels. Second time I have stayed here. Great 5 star hotel. My favorite hotel in Yangon.

Located in Nyaungu, 1.4 miles from Izza Gawna Pagoda, Bagan Cottage Boutique Hotel has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We stayed here for two nights and fell in love with this beautiful, cozy, and quiet family-owned boutique hotel. It truly felt like a countryside retreat, with a peaceful and serene environment that was incredibly relaxing. The room was very spacious and impeccably clean. The bed was so comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great, and the AC worked perfectly. While the cell service and Wi-Fi were a bit unstable, that’s common in Myanmar right now and didn’t impact our overall enjoyment. The food was exceptional—it felt like eating home-cooked meals. Compliments to the chef for such delicious dishes! The staff were outstanding—so attentive, friendly, and accommodating. They arranged an e-bike for us, which made exploring on our own a breeze. After a day of adventures, the spa services were exactly what we needed to unwind and recharge. We highly, highly recommend staying here. It’s a true gem for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Can't wait to return!

Located in Bagan, 1.3 miles from Izza Gawna Pagoda, Heritage Bagan Hotel has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness center and a garden. Super friendly staff who were always willing to help. Good facilities, pool, gym, wide choice on the restaurant menu. Might be a bit tight if the hotel is running at capacity.

Victoria Cliff Hotel & Resort, Kawthaung features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, a garden and private beach area in Kawthaung. Staff were incredible and very helpful. Views were amazing and beer was cheap

Located in the Bahan district of Yangon, Melia Yangon offers rooms with free WiFi. Among the various facilities of this property are a fitness center, a bar and a restaurant. Superb location with nice shopping mall adjacent to the hotel made it so convenient and comfortable to drop by for informal meetings and meals. Dining at the Market was also enchanting with its delicacies and their staff were well attentive and professional in handling service. I enjoyed the privacy at high class. Room amenities were sufficient. Lighting and electrical sockets were sufficient. Overall 10/10.
