Upon arrival, I was greeted by an impeccable level of cleanliness that could rival any five-star establishment. The hotel exudes a remarkable sense of home comfort, providing a warm sanctuary against the biting Montreal winter. The breakfast served is not only heartwarming but also tantalizingly delicious, making each morning a culinary delight. However, the true essence of this establishment is embodied by Philippe, Nicolas, Darren, and Sylvain. Their combined efforts, brimming with sincerity, tactfulness, and intelligence, weave a fabric of genuine homey comfort that envelops you, particularly on those frosty Montreal days. Their ability to make guests feel at home is an art that they have mastered exquisitely. In retrospect, my only twinge of regret is not capturing a moment with this remarkable team in a photograph. Their spirit and warmth are what truly set the Bad and Breakfast Hotel Montreal apart, leaving lasting impressions that beckon for a return visit.

Nice spread of breakfast. Clean and spacious room, indeed Mariott standard. Laundry room (need to use coins) present. Gym present, decent quality.

Great place, looks just like the pictures. Nice location, quite neighborhood but walking distance to a number of restaurants and a grocery store, convenience store, and cafe takeaways just around the corner. Comfortable bed. Good set up for anyone who is working remotely. The washing machine was out of order, so the host kindly did my laundry for me. I'd definitely stay here again.

Room was cocooning and clean, yet the highlight was the F&B offering at the brasserie. Great service, perfectly made negronis, and surprising food. Cozy lobby.

We had an amazing stay at the Le Relais Lyonnais! The room and bathroom were really clean and cozy. The host was so nice and helpful as well! The location is great - many restaurants and cafes nearby and just a two minutes walk from the metro. We will definitely return to this hotel when traveling to Montreal in the future.

The hotel itself was very cute! You can tell the building used to be a church and a lot of thought went into the conversion! The rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. Ours had a great street view with nice looks at some of the downtown buildings. Sammy the manager and all the staff we encountered were very lovely and accommodating and had us feeling at home right away! We will certainly be staying again in the future and would recommend to anyone looking for a more unique stay in MTL!
