This is a very comfortable hotel and I enjoyed staying there. I was greeted by a unusually friendly receptionist, who gave me a room before check-in time, provided tips on how to get to the conference venue and offered me a glass of water. This felt like a relief after a long trip and an extreme early start of the day, I was really grateful to her for being welcomed in this hospitable way. My room was spacious and had a big and comfortable bed, a good desk to work, and well-functioning Wi-Fi. Bathroom spotless clean with a good shower. Breakfast was superb with many tasty local dishes, fruits and a lot of choice. The location is quite far away from the city centre, but in walking distance of my conference venue, so in this case ideal. The front desk let me stay an hour longer in my room on the day of my departure, another sign of good service. Unfortunately I did not have time to visit the spa.

Stayed at the hotel mid February on the small double room. The room is relatively small, as mentioned on the description, however, fully functional for 2 people - it is even equipped with a desk, which can be used for work. The location is perfect, a 4 minute walk from the closest metro station - you need to exit from the "correct" exit, which is the closer to the hotel. Note, also, that the metro station is connected to two different lines, offering more choices without many transits. On 150m, you may find a large super market with everything you may need and on the same distance there is a nice cafe to get a coffee. The neighbourhood is safe, you don't feel any danger at all even at nighttime. Finally, the staff is extremely friendly, with a 24-hour reception. They even stored our luggage for a few hours both on the arrival and departure, in order to have some initial and final walks in Barcelona. It will be a definite recommendation to anyone I know who will visit Barcelona in the future and also, the first choice for myself.

Hotel was very clean and there’s a staff member at the front desk late. We came in at 1:30 am and there was someone there to greet us and check us in. The hotel it self is quite far from the centre of Barcelona but with easy access to trains and transit it wasn’t hard at all. It’s also right on a beautiful boardwalk with lots of restraints and shops and right in front of the ocean. Lived how quiet the neighborhood is also. Like the ability to go into the busy Barcelona but then escape to this quiet area.

Everything was great, room was clean and beds were comfortable. Front desk was amazing, they were all kind and helpful. Hotel is in a great location, safe. We would definitely come back again.

Локацията е много добра, в сградата има асансьор, а на покрива е обособена голяма тераса с прекрасна гледка. В дневната част има климатик, а в спалните помещения - таванни вентилатори. На близо има супермаркет и метростанция. Има всички удобства за готвене и малък хладилник. Бяха предоставени допълнителни възглавници за удобство.

Чудесен апартамент в тих квартал с всичко необходимо, поне за нас. Стаите бяха чисти и уютни. Има голяма тераса към всекидневната и по-малка към едната спалня. Много благодарности на собственичката Валентина, която ни посрещна извън часовете за настаняване и най-любезно ни обясни всичко необходимо за престоя ни, дори ни разведе в квартала. Наблизо има две ресторатчета, 15 мин път до метро. Наблизо има LIDL и други по малки хранителни магазинчета, едното от които работеше до 23.00. Ако се върви пеша, има изкачване, което за нас не беше особен проблем, но е добре да се знае.

Because of the wedding of our eldest son Dirk, my wife and Had the opportunity to stay at the Catalonia Atenas hotel en Barcelona, close to the metro station Clot! Years ago we did spent some great stays at the hotel when our children were young. The hotel is a top hotel in a top region en Barna y close to the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s creation,( the architect supported by the rich, and hospital de Sant Paul, a brilliant built hospital by Montaner, supported by the city of Barcelona and unique in its glory and philosophy for the patients( when you give them down in rooms with beautiful artworks and much light they will recover more soon than average patients! The last 15 years they restored the hospital and is a superb of ART with a capital. But back to hotel Catalonia Atenas…… We enjoyed this time a luxurious ‘ attic room’ on the tenth floor with a roof-terrace with beautiful Barcelona views and a swimming pool as next-door neighbour. The breakfast in the hotel is since years one of the best we ever had with great choices of everything you like and splendid coffee!! The staff and employees are very kind and helpful, and because of our very early return to Amsterdam city, we received a lunch packet with sandwiches, fruit, drinks and a donut! So again we had a great stay at the hotel and we can advise everyone to stay at the hotel, also because of the more than reasonable price!
