This was probably the best experience of the many hotels we have stayed at. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was excellent and the food good (although maybe a little expensive). The grounds and walks were superb.

Room, dinner, breakfast all super. Warm reception, friendly staff. Have stayed many times over the years, we fly over from USA and always try and stay a night when visiting. Loved the fresh milk in the fridge.

We'd visited Burghley House during the day, so this was the ideal place to stay on our way back to Belgium the following day. Room was very nice and quiet; tea and coffee facilities; comfortable bed. Evening meal and breakfast were delicious. Staff very friendly, pretty surroundings.
